This is a running list that is ever changing of small local bakeries that may offer fresh milled flour baked bread and/or other goods. Please contact the bakery before making a special trip to make sure they have what you are looking for in stock.

*I have not personally been to all these bakeries, and they have only been added to the list by contacting me, so please ask any questions to each individual bakery/cottage baker that you may have about their products.

Jemima’s British Bakes– I make all my goodies (cakes, tarts and scones) with freshly milled organic pastry flour and all purpose flour. All baked goods are made with clean ingredients. (I’m a cottage food baker so I’m usually a vendor at markets or bake for orders. Pickups are from Commerce Public Library.)

Castlerock Sourdough– I offer a variety of sourdough breads and baked goods using our own fresh milled grain on site at the bakery. (Roadside stand called: The Bread Hut, open from 9 am to dusk Thursday through Monday, during our May to November 1 season. I teach Sourdough Bread baking classes)

Chillified Co– We offer freeze dried products but also fresh milled flour by the pound. We have fresh milled flour kits to purchase and bring home on those days you don’t have time but want to make your own items; pancake mix, cookie mix, and quick breads with freeze dried fruits/veggies in it! Think name brand mixes but freshly milled.
No baked goods currently offered at this time. (Hours of operation are sporadic and on our Facebook page. You can always order online and we will deliver within 20 miles of the shop within 24 hours.
