Simple Dipping Oil - No Vinegar

Our favorite Dipping Oil Recipe, and it is so simple! So, if you're a bread lover, like me, then you know that the right dipping oil can level up your bread, and make all the difference. While store-bought oils can be tasty (but most of them have a vinegar component to them, and that is not the subtle flavor I am looking for.) Nothing beats the flavor of a homemade dipping oil, not only is it easy to make, but you can also customize it to your taste preferences.

  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil or more, this is all to your taste
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper

  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Pinch Red Pepper Flake to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, pour in Olive Oil. I like to use an extra light extra virgin Olive Oil, but use whatever your favorite Olive Oil is.
  • Add in the fresh cracked black pepper, Rosemary, Parsley, Basil, Garlic Powder, Red Pepper Flakes, and Salt.
  • Mix well to combine, cover.
  • Let the oil sit for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to infuse together.

Notes

You could use Fresh Rosemary, Parsley, and Basil, or even a combination of fresh and dried. I just use what I have on hand.
That's it! This recipe makes enough for about 4 servings, so adjust the amounts accordingly if you need to make more.
