Simple Dipping Oil - No Vinegar
Our favorite Dipping Oil Recipe, and it is so simple! So, if you're a bread lover, like me, then you know that the right dipping oil can level up your bread, and make all the difference. While store-bought oils can be tasty (but most of them have a vinegar component to them, and that is not the subtle flavor I am looking for.) Nothing beats the flavor of a homemade dipping oil, not only is it easy to make, but you can also customize it to your taste preferences.

Course Appetizer, bread
Cuisine American, Italian, Mediterranean
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil or more, this is all to your taste
- 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp Rosemary
- 1 tsp Parsley
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- Pinch Red Pepper Flake to taste
- Pinch of salt to taste
In a small bowl, pour in Olive Oil. I like to use an extra light extra virgin Olive Oil, but use whatever your favorite Olive Oil is.
Add in the fresh cracked black pepper, Rosemary, Parsley, Basil, Garlic Powder, Red Pepper Flakes, and Salt.
Mix well to combine, cover.
Let the oil sit for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to infuse together.
You could use Fresh Rosemary, Parsley, and Basil, or even a combination of fresh and dried. I just use what I have on hand.
That's it! This recipe makes enough for about 4 servings, so adjust the amounts accordingly if you need to make more.
