Mill the flour
Preheat oven to 400*F
Spray Donut Pan with oil (Mine makes six 2.8inch Diameter donuts, and I have 2 of them)
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a mixing bowl.
Add buttermilk, eggs, and oil to another bowl & whisk to break up the eggs. (If you don't have buttermilk, you can use 1/2c milk & 1/2tsp white vinegar
Then, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix just until no dry ingredients are showing. Don't overmix or the donuts will end up with a rubbery texture & tough.
You can pipe the donut batter into the donut pan until each well is about 1/2 full. You can do this without a piping bag, it just makes it a little easier, and less messy!
Bake donuts for 7-9 minutes, until the donuts are golden on top, and don't look shiny anymore.
Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes, then remove and place them on a wire rack to cool completely.
Next, after they have cooled, dust them with your desired amount of powdered sugar. If the powdered sugar doesn't stick, you can lightly spray the donuts with a little oil. Then dust with powdered sugar.
